HELPING RELATIONSHIPS TO HEAL, GROW, AND THRIVE

Once upon a time…

Your relationship was full of hope, excitement, and optimism. It was invigorating and full of promise.

You fell in love and thought things couldn’t be better. It was going to be “Happily Ever After” for you both.

But, it hasn’t worked out that way.

Now, when you look at your partner, you have a hard time seeing the person you fell in love with. In fact, you might not be able to look at them at all.

Instead, you feel like strangers and sometimes enemies. The connection you shared is gone.

Getting through each day at home means arguing about everything or avoiding each other as much as possible.

You feel disconnected, frustrated, hurt, and, most of all, alone.

How did we get here?

You may know exactly how your relationship got to where it is now, but the answers aren’t so clear.

Deep down, you still love your partner. But after everything that’s happened, you aren’t sure if finding your way back to harmony is possible.

Or, you feel completely betrayed and angry. Maybe you need forgiveness.

What about the kids? There are so many financial considerations to worry about.

You might have tried couples counseling in the past, but it only led to more pain.

All these uncertainties leave you wondering, “Is this relationship beyond repair? Is it worth saving?”

Don’t give up.

In my experience working with couples, the possibility of successfully healing and overcoming your relationship issues – no matter how severe, complicated, and painful the issues – often comes down to two very important factors.

First, is the willingness of you and your partner to “roll up your sleeves” and approach the problems in your relationship together.

Couples counseling provides you the time, and a place, to work on your relationship.

Counseling also provides safe and structured support from a neutral third-party expert.

As a husband, father, and therapist, I truly understand the importance of being in a healthy and loving relationship versus a damaged, physically and emotionally draining relationship.

Couples that are willing to put the time and effort into approaching their various relationship problems with courage and openness successfully find their way back to love.

Although I can’t do the work for you, I am firmly committed to collaborating with you and your partner.

Second, is your willingness to learn and implement various tools and strategies that work to serve, and ultimately heal, your relationship.

Some of these strategies include finding more effective ways to communicate with your partner, resolving conflicts, and recognizing strengths within your relationship.

You will have the opportunity to try out these skills within your therapy sessions and outside of therapy during your daily lives.

Something special brought the two of you together.

Although it’s important to figure out what isn’t working in your relationship, it’s just as important to figure out what worked in the past.

Reconnecting to what brought the two of you together helps provide clarity and perspective as you work toward answering questions about moving forward in your relationship.

Is your relationship beyond repair? Is it even worth saving?
I’ll help you find your most honest and authentic answers to these questions.
